Walking for Peace
and
The Continuing Legacy of Nichidatsu Fujii

Four Buddhist monks walked from Samarra to Bagdhad as the United States launched a war, without regard to international law, world opinion, or truth. Take the time to learn more and continue to work for peace.

The final episode of the upcoming PBS series, This Far By Faith will feature the Interfaith Pilgrimage of the Middle Passage -- which retraced the route of slavery by walking through parts of the United States, the Caribbean, and West Africa. The walk was organized by a Buddhist nun and an African American dramatist. The episode is expected to show on June 26th.

"The time has come. The time has come when we can no longer contain the urge to do something, but rush out of our houses. The time has come to look up to heaven, prostrate ourselves to earth, to voice our grief, and to share it with everyone."
